The Cusic Law Firm, P.C. is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join our family law practice in Houston, Texas. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and committed to providing exceptional client service.

This full-time, on-site position offers an excellent opportunity to work alongside a Board Certified Family Law attorney with more than 30 years of experience in a collaborative and supportive professional environment.

Position Overview

• Position: Family Law Associate Attorney
• Location: Houston, Texas
• Work Arrangement: On-site
• Employment Type: Full-time
• Salary Range: $75K - $110K/yr

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, settlement agreements etc.
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to provide exceptional client service.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and third parties.
• Handle matters involving divorce, child custody, child support, enforcement, modifications, and other family law issues.
• Conduct legal research and prepare case strategy.
• Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients' best interests.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold the highest standards of professionalism and ethics.

Qualifications

• Active license to practice law in Texas and good standing with the State Bar of Texas.
• One to five or more years of family law experience preferred.
• Ability to establish rapport and build trust with clients.
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet court deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
• Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
